  1. Hi,

I have a load of captured video on my hard drive. It's all been converted to DVD format, but I need to clip some parts of the video out. No matter how much I play with the "Clip Scene" in TMPGEnc DVD Author, it will not clip this section out. It just insists on creating chapters.

The section I want to clip out in bang in the middle of the clip. If it was the end or start, no problem, but it's not.....

    Any suggestions would be appreciated!

  3. Cobra -

Get to the "Chapter Cut Edit" screen.
Establish your "start" and "end" frame points - same as you did before.

Here's the step I think you missed:

select " Edit menu" button (toward lower r/h screen area)

In your case, select "cut currently selected range".

then, unwanted clip should disappear; hit OK and continue rest of normal author process.

  4. Does this work for multiple parts of the video, as in cutting two or three parts out of one clip?

Thanks for the quick replies, by the way!

  5. Yes, but finish the mark/confirm procedure for each snippet in turn. You can't mark a series of cut points and then take out multiple chunks at once.
