  1. ok this maybe way OT but just messing about with some ps2 games in my pc, managed to extract a video file from the disc, not only will windows MP9 play the file but tmpgenc also accepts it, now my question is does anybody know of a way to nab the audio aswell??? as i own the game tony hawks 4 im sure its ok if i rip the soundtrack to be used on a cd player etc

  2. when you say that you extracted the video file do you mean that you have the whole game on your computer now except the audio. Or do you mean that you have all the skate videos that you get when you beat the game?

  3. no i just pulled some of the sk8 vids off the game .pps or pss files i think, just ran through tmpgenc and multi plexed with my own audio file, but what id really like to know is if its possible to use the games audio? get the audio to mp3 maybe?

  4. when in tmpgenc to a demultiplex and double click on the "private stream 80" that should give you the audio your looking for. let me know if that works
