ELTAX DV-100 Regin free problems

In the manual, it says that all we have to do are pressing the OPEN\CLOSE button on the remote-control, and then key in 62818 + pluss the region number. (In the UK manual that I downloaded from the Eltax, it says 72818, but our is bought in Norway, if that matters). But that doesn't work. Well, at least not for us. It does NOT say what button we are gonne press AFTER typing in the numbers. And we see if we are typing the right numbers, cos nothing is show on the screen or the DVD-player.

Pleas help.

I'm not sure anything does show up on screen :

OPEN + 728180 - region-free
OPEN + 728181 - region 1
OPEN + 728182 - region 2
etc

seems to be the way it goes.

I'll try to use that new number 72818+ region, instead of the number I found in the manual, 62818..
