  1. I am a Newbie and just got my burner today. I'm trying to back up Swat and i've already ripped it then shrunk it. I'm trying to burn it but I don't know how using Sonic Recordnow DX. I tryed burning it in data mode, but that would not work. I'm using Ritek G04s.

    Hey moviegeek,
Since I see you use Recordnow dx too, Do you really need to have an audio_ts folder. I've been using Nero since I bought my drive 2 months ago and didn't even try out recordnow dx which came with my burner. However, I've had problems with Nero when Burning to DVD+RW (pixelation) and using recordnow max seems to have fixed the problem (I don't think Nero finalizes DVD+RW). I've been burning DVD without an audio_ts folder and it woks fine on both of my stand-alones. In fact I was backing up "Almost Famous" and I noticed this DVD doesn'r even have an Audio_ts folder. So do I really need it?

Oh, never mind. After a little searching I found my answer. Most of my commercial dvds don't have them. I'm not going to use them either. If I find a DVD player that won't play them, well I won't buy it.
