Hello all and I want to say thank you ahead of time to anyone who posts a reply.

Anywoo I had a nice burning setup (dvd shrink and encrypter) on my laptop with xp prof. I saved up enough money and bought a new pc with vista ultimate, with 2 lightscribe dvd burners. I found out I cannot burn any of my videos. I can drag and drop onto a blank dvd but it means I will not be able to play any of my old movies on my vdv player only on my pc. I tried my dvd shrink, nero, etc but they will only copy (if they do not freeze) but no burn. I tried various blank dvd's (tdk, sony, maxell, etc) and even reinstalled shrink, nero, decrypter, etc still no luck. I can still burn with the same applications on my xp laptop, but not on my vista desktop.
Both lightscribe drives are in good working order and the system is good, I just cannot burn my videos.

    Can anyone help me please?

  2. have shrink create video folders, and burn with imgburn in build mode.

imgburn is about all you need to burn all types of files.

DVD Decrypter is fairly old and I wouldn't be surprised it doesn't recognize newer burners. ImgBurn is it's replacement, minus the decryption part. And unless you have a newer version of Nero, it may not see the drives either. I don't use Nero on any of my computers any more.

If ImgBurn doesn't work, then you may have other problems.

    And welcome to our forums.
