  2. How can you expect to get help when-
    1. your profile is blank.
    2. No idea what you are using.
    3. What SW you are using.
    4. What experience level you are.

Give some info. Then maybe you can get help.

  3. That's a funny reply dude. The poor guy is just trying to get some help but instead got flame by you. Who cares if he is a beginner or advance, even advanced people have question because some stupid error might come up now and then. Anyways, try another DVD or yet try different media brand if you have any. If you want, you can try another software. Give shrink or dvddecrypter a shot

  4. Yeah, I would try a different burning program. I use CopytoDVD myself, sometimes the remaining time reads up to 72 hours to burn for me. The time for me is really about an hour not sure why CopytoDVD does that. I always burn at 1X to get the best results.

If your laser was actually on for all that time, you better hope you still have a laser. Or maybe you never had one to start with.

Burning at 1X should only take an hour for an entire disk. Any speed faster than that will obviously take less time. After you waited more than an hour, you should have realized something was wrong, but that's easy to say when you're not a newbie.

Try to eliminate either the hardware as the problem, by burning on another burner, or the software, by using a different program.
