hi everyone,
my pioneer 105 has been working fine for a year but since last week all rec attempts generate this problem:
after 3/4 of the disk quota the video gets choppy (like frames) and eventually does not play at all in any dvd player.
my dvd media is sentinel -R/4.7gb and media id is optodisk001
tried updating the firmware to no avail.
data verify indicates that files are identical.
does any one have any clue on this.
help much appreciated.

Optodisk started out to be excellent media to work with. I used maybe 150 of them with great results. Then a batch 50 that I bought from Rima about three months ago turned out to be crap. Try another media and find out if your burner is working properly.
