Hi everyone,
When I use DVD Shrink's Full Disk Mode to backup a disc with no compression, is the data re-encoded anyway? Or are the files simply being transferred to the hard drive (like using DVD Decrypter)? I noticed that when I do a no compression backup, the deep analysis option is greyed out. I am curious then if it matters whether one uses DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink under this kind of scenario?
Thanks in advance...

If there is no compression then it does not transcode. Therefor it doesnt matter which you use.
The reason 'Deep Analysis' id greyed out is because it is straight copying the files, no transcoding, so no need to encode using deep analysis.
Hope that helps.Adam
DVD Decrypter>DVDShrink>CopyToDVD
