  1. I have an avi file that I checked with Gspot. It tells me that there is a corrupt header and the movie may not play. I would like to convert this using DVD2SVCD. Is there a way to repair the header?

Try opening it with VirtualDub. If success, save using Direct Stream copy for both audio and video.
