Go to this site and download IFORegionFree01.zip. Its a good tool.

or you could use ifoedit and just open your ifo files and hit region free then save the new file (this works fine for me when doing rce discs)

well im still having problems, ive regioned free the movie using ifo edit, and since tryed with dycrypter as well, i was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a guide or something that would let me strip out those screens?, ive burnt to a disc and its reading it as having no rce protection yet it still wont pay!
any help appreciated! -
Open ifo edit, open the first ifo file in your video_ts folder and click region free, if it's rce it will ask you which region you would like rce checking to be so click the region of your dvd player. If it's not rce it will just say "no rce checking found in this ifo, enjoy your region free dvd!" then click the save button and it will ask you if you want to save it as a bup aswell click yes. Then do the same with each ifo file in the folder as they sometimes put rce in other ifo files, also when your ripping the disc in the first place make sure the region free & rce removing are NOT checked (as this messes things up)
I had problems at first but when i did it this way it's been fine ever since.I could dance with you till the cows came home..... on second thoughts i'd rather dance with the cows till you came home.

Maybe I'm wrong, but if you have AnyDVD on your computer, doesn't that take out the region lock automatically when you rip to hard drive?

If you use dvd shrink that makes it region free, I am not sure about RCE though

DVD Decrypter takes out RCE. Check your settings if you have tried this once. Especially if you are a region 2 or other. (That could make the difference if you are defaulted at R2 and the disc is a R2)

Manual:
AnyDVD is a filter driver and is running invisibly on your computer. You only need to insert a CSS and/or Region Code protected DVD into your DVD-Rom drive. Everything else is done by AnyDVD independently. AnyDVD removes automatically CSS and RPC transparently from your computer, while watching or copying. You do NOT need to save the content of your DVD on the harddisk."Whenever I need to "get away,'' I just get away in my mind. I go to my imaginary spot, where the beach is perfect and the water is perfect and the weather is perfect. The only bad thing there are the flies. They're terrible!" Jack Handey -
In my experience with anydvd it must change the original files when they are used.
I have backed up single layer dvd movies simply using anydvd and nero to do a copy...not a compression....a straight copy. And what happens? The copy I made does not have any Region coding or user preventions
