Hi!
Got a big problem trying to rip a VCD back to a standard mpg1 file (or even split m1v/mp2).
Get digital errors on the audio track. These occur every 10mins or so in the finished mpg file, manifested as 'full scale' digital noise that lasts for about 0.25 of a second.
Tried everything I can think of. Loads of different software - TMPGenc/VCDGear/VCDCutter etc - nothing clears it up.
But the funny thing is .. THE VCD PLAYS FINE ON LOADS OF DIFFERENT PLAYERS!!!!! ARRRRRGGGHHHH .....
I'm going mad here!
Any help from you guys would really be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

OK, since its in dat, get vcdgear back.
Also, get either gui 2.05 or 3.05
in 2.05, just import your dat and go to options and uncheck fix mpeg errors.
In 3.05, import, do same thing- uncheck fix errors and thats it i think.
I am not in front of my pc at the moment cuz i am fixing another persons' pc but if you have any problems, email me
