I tried all the methods from converting dvd-9 to dvd-5 and to one dvdr and still have no luck. Basically my dvdr play in my standalone dvd player but skips, almost like it would if i tried to play a svcd. It plays for a sec, skips, plays, skips...

Is this because of my system or the way i'm ripping the dvd. I've burned successful before so i dont think its the media, any help i could get would be great.

(p3 600 512mb ripping usually with dvd decrypter or dvdshrink and tried burning with nero, recordnow, instantcopy using a plextor 708 and ritek dvd-r's at 1x)
