This programe was recommended to my a Mod of another board - Having done a quick of the + and - points in regards to this programe it appears that it cuts out a lot of the demux and authoring of converting svcds/vcds onto DVDR .... However this is were I get confused ..
lets say for example I have 2 bin files part 1 and 2 of a lets say vcd ..
the way I understand this programe is that it is capable of extracting the mpeg from the bin joining together and producing an output of one single file ... in the form of vobs in a folder Audio TS and Video TS.... is this right ?
In other words in the old days you had to demux and remux then change audio to 48 KHz from 44 does this programe do it all ?
leaving you the above folders with the vobs to burn to disc ...
also if this is right can I just use Stomp Record Max as this recognises Vobs .. OR do I have to use another programe ....
and Finaly .... whats this patching header or full file and how do I know what format to choose for input to output . I apologise if I havent made myself clear enough
I hope this makes sense I just want to put some of my vcd films on to dvdr to save space thanks to anyone who can help

Thanks for the fast reply if I may ask another question in relation to this programe if say the Vcd is at 44Khz and DVD standard is 48KHZ does this programe remux the files to make it DVD compatable or do I have to use tempeg or another programe ---
In other words will my standalone dvd player recognise the structure of the completed dvdr if the audio remains at 44KHz
Thanks -
The main issue with VCD/SVCDs on DVDr is the audio frequency.
This is principally what SVCD2DVD does: convert from 44.1 to 48Khz.
