Hi,
I would have posted this yesterday straight after I registered but I had to wait 24 hours before the forum allowed new posts.
1. Registration was very easy after reading the comments some people were having I was a bit concerned but it took 15 minutes from making a donation to receiving the download url, registration details and a machine license. Was simple if you follow the instructions.
2. It was the first time I had used PayPal and it was quite straightforward to Dontate but I am concerned that PayPal has sent my address etc is this the case? I saw no method of excluding my address etc which one poster in the past says was possible? Not end of the world but would like to know if I am to continue to use PayPal.
3. Windows needs reinstalling quite regularly to keep it speed optimised etc will the same user data code be generated / use same machine license if I reinstall with no hardware changes? I guess not as people have been having trouble with generating multiple user data's - only 2 goes at registering it quite limiting - i.e. have used 1 now, but I may reinstall my machine in a couple of months and plan to upgrade to a new machine with faster processor a few months after etc this means I will have used more than 2 licenses even though it is not installed on more than one machine?
4. When I use Menu Maker the background image is way too big for the television even if I set to "Full" mode on the TV. I have to remember to indent a few cm's on the left and the top so screen area is at a premium as the bottom and right is also off screen and indents are needed there also?
5. Couple of Menu Maker suggestions - it would be great if the default button names could be initially set to the filename (excluding the .mpg/.bin) extension. Ability to load/save menu layouts, select or be reminded which movie each button plays would be great and the ability to proportionality position the buttons between the (top and bottom) or (left and right) selection would be great?
Great product and I look forward to the next update,
Cheers
Paul.

Thanks for the post.
Indeed.... but not many do!1. Registration was very easy after reading the comments some people were having I was a bit concerned but it took 15 minutes from making a donation to receiving the download url, registration details and a machine license. Was simple if you follow the instructions.
Not unless it is requested by the vender & you would have the option not to give it. I don't request it.I am concerned that PayPal has sent my address etc is this the case?
For those who rebuild as frequently as yourself - i just need to be aware of the situation and then I'll sort it out.2 goes at registering it quite limiting
i agree!it would be great if the default button names could be initially set to the filename (excluding the .mpg/.bin) extension
these features are in the pipeline...Ability to load/save menu layouts, select or be reminded which movie each button plays would be great and the ability to proportionality position the buttons between the (top and bottom) or (left and right) selection would be great?SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

Thanks for the reply.
I usually don't reinstall frequently it is just that I use Win2K and is usually not prone to having to be reinstalled but I have been running for 2+ years and would probably now benefit - it has just fallen at this time.PMK>2 goes at registering it quite limiting
ChrissyBoy>For those who rebuild as frequently as yourself - i just need to be aware of the situation and then I'll sort it out.
It would be fantastic if this enhancement could be included in a future release.PMK->it would be great if the default button names could be initially set to the filename (excluding the .mpg/.bin) extension
ChrissyBoy->i agree!
The next one if possible
Have you any ideas on this?PMK->4. When I use Menu Maker the background image is way too big for the television even if I set to "Full" mode on the TV.
Just to expand on this so my suggestion is clear the proportional spacing would be relative to the top and bottom / left and right button - i.e. it would not space out to the height / width of the menu jpg if the top button was half way down the jpg and the last button at the bottom with three buttons in between, these in between buttons would be spaced between the top button (half way down the jpg) and the bottom button.PMK->Ability to load/save menu layouts, select or be reminded which movie each button plays would be great and the ability to proportionality position the buttons between the (top and bottom) or (left and right) selection would be great?
ChrissyBoy->these features are in the pipeline...
Thanks

I have just donated and received the full version. I installed it and did all the license stuff but am curious as to why someone elses email address is shown in the program window. I would have thought that as it's registered to me it would have my address.
Would someone be so kind as to advise me?
TIA. -
Drop me an email with the details.....
