  1. Hey, i'm an aspiring Club VJ (Masquerade in Tampa). I collect music videos from the usual places and i've learned to use TMPEG use fix what is visually wrong with these raw videos. My problem is that the sound levels are different for every video! I'm sick and tired of adjusting the sound level every time a music video comes on! What can I use/do to correct this? Also, is there a forum/people here that do the same MTV-style VJ'ing as me? Thanx!

  3. use TMPGENC's audio feature. You can adjust the audio (normalize it).

what you have to do is normalise each audi track against each other rather than normalise each audio track seprately. you can do this with cool edit pro or audio tools. it may involve a lot of work but is probably worth it since you want to do this for a living. this is a batch like process, that is load say 15 audio tracks and then choose to normalise all agianst each other. hope that helps
