I have connected my Daewoo DVG-3000N dvd player to Panasonic 27" TV thru an S-Video cable. I am not getting any audio at all.But by using A/V cables it is working fine.
Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

You have it connected properly at this time. The S-Video is for the video only, it doesn't connect the audio.

Than you so much scottwiggins.
BTW-
That means s- video cable just replaces my normal video(yellow cable) and i have to use audio(red and white)cables as usual. Is that right ..? -
yes....unles you have digital coax/fiberoptic cable ....but then you have make sure you audio receiver supports digital.
