I am also curious about this deal. Are you sure they are 4x. A couple months ago I bought the same deal but they were 2.4x dvd+r. They turned out to be CMC. If this deal is 4x discs then I'd like to know the manufacturer id. I'll buy if they are ricoch.

I'm almost positive that they are 2.4. I was just at Office Depot last week and they had like a 100 packs of the 2.4 +r Phillips disc's.

I bought some of the 2.4x about a month ago when they were buy 1 get one free. I'm still on my first spindle and haven't had any problems so far with data and movies on my nec 1300a. I've even burned all the way to the edge with no issues. The only thing I have noticed is that 2 of the discs so far have had the dreaded spot or blotch in the dye, but I burned through them with out any trouble. So far I've burned 15 out of 25 with no coasters. Good luck.
BTW, these are CMC, but apparently a good batch.
