  1. i was just wondering if there was any way to get a smooth flow between files. for example if i have like 12 seperate svcd's mpegs and i want to put them all in the program (not merge them first in a seperate program)
is there anway to get it so that they all run smoothly at the end of each file. there seems to be a slight pause at the end of the files before it goes into the next file??

    thanks

  2. Probably not. Think it's your player that's not playing smooth. Runs fine on my 2 players: JVC XV-N5 and Yamada DVX 6000. Other opinions?

Compare your standalone with other players, and you will find out. (Got a pause on my JVC when it's two layers, though) Use Tmpgenc to to join the files, if u like(finished in no time), but remember to add chapters...

  3. i will try multiple players. funny thing is when i tried using TMPGenc to join the files it doesn't like one of the mpg files for some reason, says it is not compatible with the rest of them or something like that which i don't get because they all have the same properties??

  4. Probably corrupted..chances are that the (faulty) mpeg will sound strange (cracks... etc if you burn it, even if not merging it.) or find out if it's using some non compatible audio format. Could be the fact that your mpeg's audio is 44.1 khz and your "faulty" is'nt . (Could be 48, 22 khz or whatever..then demultiplex it, resample and merge it again) Tmpgenc will not multiplex a mpeg with ac3 sound f ex... not sure wich formats Tmpgenc consider as compatible except .mp2
