Well, I have a feeling that my 4 year old Toshiba 2109 isn't exactly going to work the way I had hoped with DVD-Rs, so is there anything that's cheap, as in like 50 bucks, that's comparable?
I basically just need digital coax out for sound (something else already has optical) and I don't honestly care about progressive since my TV doesn't support it. Mp3s are nice only if they sound good (heard an old apex, they sounded like shit).
Otherwise I may have to just suck it up and use the PS2 all the time, if it even reads them.
