    I created a backup using CloneDVD. When I try to make a new backup from the disk I made using CloneDVD I get read errors. Why is this?

    Crappy media - that is why I now use Nero with the "verify" option after every DVD burn unless I use something I know for a fact is good.

    how are you making your backup of a backup? Try to use dvddecrypter. Rip as ISO and then burn back. See if that fixes it.
