I've got this far.....
I've taken hundreds of photos of my artwork as it has progressed - e.g every time I change or modify my paitings I would snap a picture.
I then use Camedia master to create a slide show and each show can be set at a certain frame rate btwn 1- 15. The output is in quicktime format and I just figured out how to convert the .mov files to mpeg2 with TMPGEnc and then authoring a DVD with TMPGEnc authoring - surprisingly easy. So now I have a dvd with 6 clips which range from 30secs to 6 min.
I've got this far but now want to include audio to accompany each of the clips and I have no clue where to start.
NB!! I also need to figure out a way whereby I can create a clip/slideshow and be able to slow part of it down and then speed another part up. At the moment Camedia only allows me to specify a set framerate for the entire clip. So the only way I can slow parts down is to add more of the same photo to a certain section of the clip. Is there another program that anyone knows that will allow me to alter a clip in this way???
Thanks for all advice.

Here's a cheap way:
Use Windows Movie Maker to make the slideshows. It's free.
1) Import your digital images.
2) You should be able to set the length of each image.
3) It should let you import Audio ( music or recorded speach)
4) This is impotrant, make sure you output the clip to DV-AVI.
5) you should be able to convert the avi to mpeg with your TMPEnc.
P.S. I don't use Movie Maker, but I'm sure it can do all that without too much problems.
Good luck!Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........ -
I'll look into that prog. Can anyone at least advise me how I can create a delay at the end of each clip - either a blank screen for about 2 secs or a longer pause at the end of a clip.
At the moment my DVD comprised 6 separate clips - each clip is a new chapter on my dvd. The problem is that there is no pause/delay when one clip ends - the next one immediately starts. I would prefer a slight delay.
What would be the easiest way to accomplish this without starting from scratch? -
Just create a black bmp. Make it 720 x 540 (for NTSC). You can have it apear between your clips. You can make one with text on it in your image editor, that way you can have your titles and credits if you want.

You mean create a black bmp image before I actually create the movies?
But is there a way to add it in afterwards as I have already created the clips?
Thanks
