I'm at work so I can't try this now and don't want to wait to get home to try. Can you just write a VCDs image to your HD with CloneCD then burn it as a perfect copy. I mean thats how it works with games and apps, why should a VCD be any different. Anyone use Clone CD to make copies of VCDs?

  2. What's Clone CD? Is it freeware? ... or at least "cheapware"?

CloneCD is a CD Replicator program...suppose to make PERFECT copies of any CD including CDs with copyright protection on them. I use it to back up all my games so I don't need to get "cracks" or "game fixes" for them. You select the options you need then CloneCD copies a complete image to your hard drive....3 files....then you use CloneCD to burn those files to a CDR. Awesome program...wouldn't use anything else to back up my CDs. There are certain requirement needed to use this software.

Go to http://www.elaborate-bytes.com/ and you'll find out everything you need to know. You have to pay for this program, but ofcourse like anything else on the net....you can get it for free....and ofcourse I can't tell you how either....but the program is worth it. EMAIL me if you have any other questions.

My experience: with CloneCD I burned DIRECTLY a copy from my VCD CD-R (that include menu) with no problem. I did not copy to my hard disk. I got a perfect copy.
    Bye.
