    Hi, i have a Pioneer dvd-343 player at home and the region code hack doesn't work for me. The serial number on the box is #AECPO23896CA, not sure about the "0" if it's a letter or the number.

    If i follow the instructions the text should disappear after entering the region code but it doesn't.

    Anybody can help? thanks!

    Hi, i'll rephrase my question better. The region code hack listed here on this website doesn't work, so are the instructions right or do i need to do something extra to make the code work ?

    Thanks for any help anyone can provide (that hack is driving me crazy!)

    I have a Pioneer 434 which I believe was made in the same year (maybe after), I bought it modified off a website to play my Region 2 anime dvd's. It looks to me that the player may have to be modified to use the hack (how, I'm not sure).

    As far as the instructions for the hack, they work on my modified player.
