hi, i wonde if any one can help me. I want to convert asf files to vcd.
I can convert the asf files to avi using virtualdub. then i can convert the avi files to mpeg using TMPGEnc.
When i try to create a vcd using nero 5.5 i get an eror message saying "not enough memory". I have a P3 500mhtz pc with 256 mg of ram. Can any one help?
Also , if i am viewing an asf movie and i want it to fill the screen i the picture deteriates greatly. How do i watch my asf films with mediaplayer 6 on full screen with out the blockiness???? Please help....it is driving me mad....TY.

tmpgenc will take asfs directly.. will save an encoding step
at least the old tmpgenc i use does

take a deep breath *whew* well (1) is the video running at about 200 megs (or smaller) per 45 mins.. generally asfs that small look blocky full screen.
