  1. Using DVDShrink tied with ANYDVD to create a DVD with only the Main movie and without any of the menus will not play using my WINDVD software.

If I select the VIDEO_TS.IFO from within WINDVD then nothing appears. The only way to get it to work is to select each of the VOB files manually.

If I burn the VIDEO_TS folder to DVDR it then it does work with no problems in my TEAC standalone DVD player.

Using IFOEDIT the VIDEO_TS.IFO looks correct (to me anyway, I'm no expert.)

Am I possibly creating non standard DVD's that luckily my standalone will play? or am I missing something?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. I've had the same kind of problems with PowerDVD. but once its burned to disc PowerDVD plays it fine. Some kind of copyright failsafe I'd imagine.

  3. Worked it out.

WINDVD doesn't seem to work unless the compilation in under a folder or sub-folder labelled VIDEO_TS.

    Makes sense really.

    Cheers
