Hello. I am wondering what the easiest way to rip just a movie only is, no extras or menus. I've been trying with DVD Shrink, but weird things are happening. For instance, when i use Full Disk mode, and shrink menus and extras down to stills, it shrinks below 4.32GB. But when I use the re-author mode, and drag only the movie over, it still shows too big even compressing it at level 10.
I'd really like to find the easiest, simplest way to rip just the movie only.
BTW, I did see the other post, but it didn't lay out any step-by-step process, only to use DVD Shrink. If someone could, I'd so appreciate a step-by-step process.
Thanks for the forum.

Software used (until you guys/gals enlighten me):
DVD Decrypter
DVD Shrink
CopyToDVD
Nero 6
VCDEasy
TMPGEnc -
Your problem is from Multi-angle. Tell Shrink to collapse multi-angle views and it will go away (it treats each angle as a seperate movie).

... or to put it another way, uncheck "View >> combine shared titles", using the preview identify which title is the movie (if there are more than one in the "Movie" folder), and drag it to a new re-author window.
