I've read the guides on here and I've made several successful DVD-RIPS but all of them have come out with very low quality. I'm guessing that either I'm using a low-quality program or perhaps I'm not using good settings.
Let me start off by saying that I would like my end-result to be an MPEG-2 file (so that I could stream it through my ReplayTV).
So far the only way I know how to do this is using DVDx (v2.2), but like I mentioned above I'm getting very low quality files.
Also worthy of mention is the fact that I'm using my X-Box to rip the .VOB files first because I don't have a DVD drive in my computer. I don't think this should matter though.
Lastly, the two movies I'm currently trying to encode (testing them out) is "My Cousin Vinny" and "I-Spy".
Any help would be GREATLY appriciated!
