    ok i have a divx with ac3, im guna convert the divx to dvd, what i wanna no is ther away to exstract the ac3 and keep it as ac3, so i can mux it back into the dvd mpeg and srill have the true 5.1sound?

    you can convert the video with something else than tmpgenc if you like.

    I dont think ULEAD DVD WORKSHOP should be included in the list as this re-converts when you import a 5.1 AC3 file into a 2 channel AC3 file. This is with the AC3 PowerPack installed.
