    hi
    i often wondered if it was possible to increase the video resolution
    i ask this because i have mpg video files ( 352x240 ) that i want to convert in divx files ( 720 x 576 )
    is it possible ?what apps do i need ?
    does the video quality depend only on the resolution?

    Virtualdub will let you resize your video. Once you have your video compression figured out just select Filters in the Video menu. Then click "add" and then "resize" and finally set your new resolution size by clicking "configure". Under Filter Mode, make sure you select Precise Bicubic.
