Plextor -708A Burning Problems

Help Please..

I am trying to burn a DVD with the Plextor-708A.

I have two types of media 1 isn't recognised by the drive but the other uses the Ritek GO4 type.

However when i try to burn a DVD i get a buffer under run error.

It is Secondary Master with no Slave attached.

DMA is enabled.

Please advise.

I am running Firmware 1.4.

The software i used was Pinnacle 8 to burn a pdi image.

I found the problem myself.

Just for the sake of anyone in the same position.

Make sure Norton AV is disabled then it works fine.

thanks for posting, i have long since stopped using Norton, it seems to slow my computer down
