I have ripped my DVD using smart ripper. Now its the .ifo and .vob files. Can I use DVDX to convert these files to mpg?? It seems you can by opening the .ifo file however when it gets about half way through with an error that there was no information to get sound. So with my partially done file(filesize is about 350MB/750MB)...
It plays the video just fine.
It plays sound just fine at first...
about 10 min into the movie the sound starts getting ahead of the video =[ by the end of the file the sound comes a good 4-5sec. before it happens on screen. The video doesn't seem to be playing slow and the sound quality is good. Bottom line is it even possible to do this? Any help is appriciated.
Thanx,
Fat J

Yes, basicly it is possible, althought DVDx has some problems with some movies, but it improves from version to version
