What I want to do is capture tv AND camcorder or VCR, to svcd.
I was wondering if the quality of recording tv is better if I use the tv and connect to either a pvr device (such as the Hauppauge PVR-250 or the ADS Instant DVD II or equiv.), using video & audio cables, rather than recording directly from the pvr-250 itself. (Does that make sense?).
I am also looking at the possibility of buying the 'ADS Instant DVD' product, now that they have a new version out. It has a proper video/audio codec in it now (for easier sync), plus it is USB 2, for decent bitrate capture.
Also, does anyone here have experience with either products and can say how they compare?
Thanks.[/i]
