    I have a pioneers 104 DVD writer that won't even read these Philip's DVD-RW's 4X. I've burned verbitim DVD-R's before. I'm a n00b at this stuff so I don't really know what the problem is. I tried installing many different new firmware but either they won't install. Some give me the error "Available Target is Not Found" and others say "Model name of kernal is not macthed". Any help would be great.

    Just a guess,I have a Pioneer DVR-104,it has a 2x burn limit and may not be able to recognize 4x RW disks even though it will recognize 4x R disks.
