Pioneer 106D Region Patch Question

Ok i have downloaded DVR-106D v1.07 - RPC-1 + 2xDVD-R + 12xRip.
When I run it, it tells me that the drive will be updated to 1.06. My drive is currently at 1.07 (Dec 2003 - only bought it two weeks ago).
Have used CDVDInfo Ver1.3.5 and this tells me that the drive is as follows:

PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-106D
Firmware revision - 1.07
Vendor specific - 03/09/08 PIONEER

Question is do I allow the patch to continue?
