  1. I am converting a divX avi file into DVD and have been following a guide. I have reached the point, where I have an .mpv and .vaf file and an .ac3 file, but I have just tried installing the recommended authoring program and it diplays an error message saying ' SEVERE ' '.......requires 1024 X 768 resolution with 16 bit color to properly view it's menus and work area. Please set this resolution and color depth before starting .......' Program name obiously ommited. Can anyone please help with this, or alternatively, suggest a good and simple to use authoring program? Any help would be appreciated, as I have never got this far before and wouldn't have done so if it hadn't been for this site. Thanks in anticipation.

  2. Right click your desktop, choose properties and then go to the settings tab... Try to change your screen resolution to 1024x768 and color quality to 16 or 32-bit (last one recommended for best quality).
