Dear all,
Having prepared quite a lot of good SVCD's in the past, I have come to something I have never seen before: while playing the SVCD you can see the some of the pixels changing with a constant frequency (almost like a heartbeat).
What could this be? Is it something mechanical (hard drive damaged or too deframentated)? Or something else (codec file damaged ??)?
I use Ulead VideoStudio 6 to create the MPEG-2 file from DV homevideo material.
Many thanks!
Best regards,
Marcel

Hi there Rabitdog,
Thanks for your reply.
I cannot check because I only got my PC. Will do so this afternoon somewhere else.
But what do you mean with interlacing? What causes it to appear at this moment? Can it be solved?
Best regards

Well I tried a DVD player, but the same problem remains?
Who knows how to solve this. Is it in the settings of the MPEG codec VideoStudio is using?
As far as I know DV video is interlaced. Might this be the problem?
I Hope somebody can help me out! Thanks.
Best regards,
Marcel
