    can I make and mpg movie to an img file and if so how?

    Do you mean "make a still picture from a movie"? If so, run in power dvd and click camera icon.

    I was wondering how long it was going to take for someone to replay to that post.

    About any burning software can create IMG files (also called ISO / BIN / CUE / NRG / CCD / SUB / CIF / BWI) and also some authorizing programs.

    But not by just renaming a MPEG file to .IMG.
