I wonder if it has the built in control (like most in car TV's) that disallows it from playing when the car is in motion. It' still a danger though as most of those controls are easily overcome.

Imagine, you're performing a tricky reverse into a tight bay at the supermarket. You're slowly backing in, lining up nicely. It's a tight squeeze. You're just about in and then..... "Windows has encountered an unexpected error"...... BANG!

Would it not be a better idea not to replace the standard mirror in the car but to provide another screen for reversing etc. Perhaps couple it with sonar too? The Ford Galaxy (I think) had sonar parking sensors, and there's a Nissan that has a rear-view camera for parking.
