Was just wondering if the order in which you load your filters in virtualdub make a difference on the quality. For example, if I load resize, MSU Denoiser, and than Smart Deinterlace in that order does it make a difference.

Yes
Deinterlace before resizing. Denoiser could matter if you upsize or downsize. If you use the denoiser after downsizing a lot, it would have a lot less pixels to work with so you could go overboard and your picture may not look as good. If you upsize I would use it after resizing. Depending how you order your filters may have an effect on encoding speed also..
I usually use avisynth and its filters though. -
Is there a tutorial on avisynth anywhere?
http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/Main_Page
+reference documentation installed with AviSynth;
AVSP: free script editor with preview/floating prompts/button to call AviSynth docs. -
