  1. Before I commit to attempting to convert a couple of AVI's ,I just wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing.
    I have AVI's that are 23fps Films and of course TMPGEnc DVD Author will not accept that (this would be after I encode with regular TMPGEnc....of course)
    If I set it up as framerate "23fps(with 29 internal)" and "3:2 Pull down on playback" is this sufficient?
    or
    Do I also need to set something like "Do Not Frame Rate Conversion" in Advanced (or is this only for 25fps conversions)?

    23.97 with the 3:2 pulldown flag set is DVD standard for MPEG2 video streams (not VCD). Any MPEG2 encoded to 23.97 should have the pulldown flag set or it can't be played on a settop player.
