I need to use this quote that I know goes along the lines of "those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it". I'm sure everyone has heard this before. But is that how it's really worded?
Read these pages and let me know which one you would trust best:
(1) "Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it"
(2) Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
(3) Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

I thought it went:
Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it. Atleast thats what I remember my history books saying.
People argue that it was Salman Rushdie that said it but I have seen other accounts where it was originally quoted by George Santayana.
Don't quote me on this though. Hope it helps.
