  1. This should be an easy one for you guys.

I was messing around with my WinXP trying to get XVids to work and I removed some codecs from the control panel thing in windows. I installed/uninstalled a few XVid codecs as well as codec packs too

Anyone know how I can get this stuff working again? AVIs don't even play in PowerDVD. Even normal non-divx/XVid AVIs

  3. OK, I just reinstalled WindowsXP. Next I installed XVid (XviD-1.0-Beta3-26122003.exe) Keopi's build. Then I installed PowerDVD 5.

I played an Xvid avi with ms media player a few times. Then I tried PowerDVD back and forth. But it never played once on PowerDVD and then all of a sudden it stopped playing on media player.

Does anyone know of an XVid codec that is PowerDVD-friendly?
