I now understand music piracy even more than before

I'm upset. And I now know of the THIRD reason music piracy is so popular. And if my songs were available for download, I'd probably join them at it. Although I really do want to buy this and support the efforts of the artist (who plans to redo OZZY next).

I'm looking for a CD that came out 2-3 months ago. Not that hard to find it, you'd think. Wrong. So very wrong.

I'm looking for FADE TO BLUEGRASS, a METALLICA country (bluegrass) remix CD by the bluegrass band IRON HORSE. It had national release in all the outlets. And even though most stores say that have it in the database, I can't find the damned thing in the store, nor can the employees. I've spent about an hour looking for it locally.

It took about 30 minutes of online searching to find a store that had it in stock.

WHAT A PAIN IN THE ASS !!!

Even more obnoxious was two stores near me had probably every rap "artist" since the beginning of time, each aisle neatly arranged, as if a mother was caring for her newborn. The rock and country section looked like it was unloaded with a dump truck. I think that's the thing I found most obnoxious.

No wonder people want to download so much! Add another reason to the list:

1. RIAA/labels suck and screw bands
2. The discs are way too expensive.
and now 3. The shopping experience can really suck.

I know how frustrating that can be though...and there are things you can't even track down online to buy (not even on ebay)
That was what made P2P so great...but nowadays, you don't get as good of a selection since many have been scared off by the RIAA

I don't trust half.com all that much. Too many cancellations, waste of time. Most of those half sellers suck.

CD Universe showed it as sold out just yesterday. Odd. Very odd.

Got it for $16 total somewhere else.
