I'm working with a bunch of old super8 footage from the 60s and 70s that's generally pretty washed-out. Is there a way (preferrably in Premiere 6.0) that I can bring out the detail and color of this footage? Here are a few examples of what I'm working with:

Seriously
Filtering videos (or even stills) is a subject that some people spend
years on.
Most video editors have at least Contrast, Brightness, and Color adjustment
filters. VirtualDub is free and has said filters.
