  1. Hi,
I had quality divx movie that I decided to convert to DVD using Main Concept. The final mpeg2 file had several seconds desynchonization of audio and video, even thought, original file was fine. Are there any suggestion how to prevent that in future?
    Thanks

One simple rule comes to mind: Always scan for bad frames before doing anything else.

  5. Still stupid. Checked for bad frames, but can not find that log. Is there any easier way. Honestly, I never had problems with desynchronization with VCD encoding with TMPGEnc. This time I tried MainConcept for DVD encoding. Was that the problem. Again, the source file does not have any disynchronization

Bad frames can show up as a little glitch that you hardly notice when playing the file. It doesn't bother you but it sure screws up the conversion. If Vdub reported "bad frames found and logged" then you need to edit them out. Usually the log file is in the root folder of your c: drive, look under "my documents".
