    WEll... i have a problem. Whenever i capture a movie in DivX 5.02 i have keyframes at the first 400 frames. From that 400th Frame there are no more Keyframes which makes it pretty impossible to edit the movie after recording it. My question is: What the hell am i doing wrong?

    Well, you are not telling us what program you are using. You are not telling what you have tried so far. And you are telling us what happened when you tried Virtual Dub mod or AviSynth.

    i was using virtualdub. i will try the programms you told me.

    virtual dub = no difference.

    Well, did you try to edit without the key frames anyway? Also, AviSynth does not need keyframes to edit. But it is a little difficult to pick up. Once you get the hang of it, it is worth it.
