how to play TELESYNC AVI files

I downloaded an AVI file from Kazaa and its in Avi Telesync format
How do i play the file ?

You could try GSpot and see what codecs you need.

I think he's refering to how it was captured. In future posts don't reference pirated material.

You need the codecs to play it. I suggest you get FFDShow, since it plays about everything and won't confuse you about with DivX renedered to get.

A telesync is the same spec as a CAM (a theater rip usually done with a digital video camera) except it uses an external audio source (most often an audio jack in the chair for hard of hearing people). The telesync is filmed in an empty cinema or from the projection booth with a professional camera

TS or telecine in the parlance of an AVI means it's a pirated movie(CAM with line Audio in stereo). Telecine in the parlance of a DVD is referring to 23.97/29.97 fps and 3:2 pulldown.
