MSI DR4-A firmware problems

I got my dr4-2 with firmware version 2.17 and I buy 5 DVD+RW Emtec. dr4-a can't write lead out on these disk so I tried new 2.23D firmware. With this firmware disks was still unusable and I had problems to read CD-R(W) disc.

Few days ago I find a new 2.30 version and compatibility with CD-R(W) is fine, bud with this firmware DVD burning is crazy. On 2.17 and 2.23D I burned Verbatim DVD-R 4x certified on 4x speed with no problems, with 2.30 i set 4x speed and burning was 30 minutes. Bufer level was not constant at 99% bud various from 10 to 99. And diode on drive flashes to green on burning! (not continuosly red) I can read this disc on dr4-a bud not on other DVD drives.

I need my good old 2.17 firmware back!!! where?

Have anyone Optorite 2.17 firmware? May by I try it for my DR4-A. I can't download it from here: http://www.optorite.com/DV2_2_17_E.zip. You can send it to me on d.inzine@centrum.cz. Thanks

Just last question. I read a many articles bud I still don't know which optorite drive and firmware is compatible with my dr4-a. I read that dd0203 is compatibile, bud file size of firmware is smaler as msi firmware. dd0201 firmware file size is same as msi firmware, so I think dd0201 is compatible. Am I right?

OK, thats it, what I did:

1. I instaled MSI 2.23D firmware.
2. I instaled optorite 2.30E firmware (for dd0201!!!)

Now I have no problems with reading CD, DVD or burning.
