Copy from unprotected DvD-5 right to dvd-r (no harddrive)

i'm looking for a (free) program to back-up a sigle layer unprotected dvd right to a dvd-r without writing to the harddrive.

as if you were using easy cd creator and you were copying a cd.

It works very well. Of course if your source drive can only read at 2x, then you had better burn at 2x. It also only works if the source is error free......

I have had issues with coping disk to disk using Nero 6.xx. It had worked randomly at first but now every time I try when the disk nears the end of the burn phase it stops and I get an error message. Any thoughts on why this would be happening?

i have been installing HaCD burner on most of my customers computer its free for 6 months then they can buy a full copy you can get it from http://www.acard.com.tw
they find it simple to use and it can copy on the fly with no problems at all as long as your computer is sort of half decent 1.2 Ghz and above

What error message do you get ?

Hard to reproduce and can not remember the exact error. Something like a Check Sum(?) I'll try and write it down next time I see it. Last time I got one was with Seabiscuit. (Maybe it was running too fast )
