AVI DV or MPG to VOB

Hi,

I have Canopus ADVC-100 and I convert VHS file to AVI DV and then to MPG. I want to burn MPG to DVD without autoring it. Is there some program to convert AVI or MPG (MPEG2) directly to VOB/IFO ?

There may be, but it sounds like you just want a DVD with no menu. If so Why not use something like Moviefactory 2 and deselect the create menu option? It will create all the vobs and ifo's you need so you can burn it and as long as your using a DVD compliant MPG it will not re-encode it.

Try IFOEdit. It's authoring feature only produces a single-title(single-movie), no-menu DVD-Video compliant VOB and IFO file.

If you want VOB files, then you MUST author.
